Can Tho - At the Congress of the Chau Thanh Regional Medical Center Trade Union, Mr. Duong Chi Thien was re-elected as the new term Trade Union President.

On November 27, the grassroots trade union of Chau Thanh Regional Medical Center (Can Tho City) announced that the unit had just held the 5th Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Over the past term, the activities of the Chau Thanh Regional Medical Center Trade Union continued to develop. The lives of cadres, civil servants and workers (VC-LD) are relatively stable. The policies, wages, salaries, bonuses, allowances, social insurance, and health insurance for employees have been implemented quite fully.

The Health Center Trade Union and trade unions organized visits and presented gifts to encourage cadres, union members, VC-LD, policy families, and VC-LD families in especially difficult circumstances on the occasion of the traditional New Year and Workers' Month.

In addition, the unit also participated in contributing to the Fund for the Poor; Trade Union Shelter Fund; Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Fund, Flood, etc.

For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Chau Thanh Regional Health Center Trade Union Congress determined the motto of continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation in a practical and effective manner; focusing on representing, caring for, and protecting the rights and interests of union members and employees; building strong grassroots trade unions; improving the quality of union officials; actively participating in building a clean and strong Party and government.

Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Tran Ngoc My - Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation, Chief of Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City - acknowledged and praised the achievements of the unit.

In the new term, the Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation suggested that the Trade Union of the Medical Center focus on implementing tasks of further enhancing the role of representing and protecting the rights of union members, civil servants and workers, focusing on implementing the Grassroots Democracy Regulations; continuing to promote propaganda and education work; consolidating and building a strong Trade Union organization, successfully completing the set targets.

The unit also needs to promote its proactive and creative role in the context of restructuring; promote movement activities associated with political tasks; strengthen inspection, supervision and professional ethics building; effectively implement financial work, inspection and supervision work to ensure publicity, transparency, focus resources on movement activities and care for union members' lives.

The Congress elected 9 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Chau Thanh Regional Health Center Trade Union; elected 1 official delegate and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 1st Can Tho City Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030. Comrade Duong Chi Thien was re-elected as Chairman of the Chau Thanh Regional Medical Center Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.
