According to Thanh Hoa Provincial Social Insurance, as of December 31, 2024, there were 2,282 units in the province that were late in paying insurance for 3 months or more, with an amount of more than 474 billion VND, of which 2,264 units were late in paying in the enterprise, cooperative, and individual business households sector, with an amount of more than 471 billion VND; in the administrative and public service sector, there were 18 units, with a total amount of 2.39 billion VND.

There are still many limitations in the payment of insurance by units such as: some enterprises have not complied with regulations on collection and payment of social insurance and health insurance; the handling after inspection and examination at enterprises that are late in paying insurance is still limited, with low results. Some enterprises have not coordinated with the social insurance agency during the implementation process.
Typical units with large amounts of late payment and a long period of time include: FLC Samson Golf & Resort Company Limited with 332 employees, late payment of 43 months with an amount of more than 33 billion VND; Thanh Hoa Shipbuilding Industry One Member Co., Ltd. has 43 employees late payment of 94 months, with an amount of nearly 18 billion VND; Van Ha Garment Joint Stock Company has 786 employees late payment of 16 months, with an amount of more than 13 billion VND...
Some enterprises have large amounts of late payment, few or no employees, long delay in payment, have been inspected many times but have not recovered the late payment such as: Hancorp.2 Construction Joint Stock Company is 148 months late in payment, with an amount of more than 41 billion VND; Hoang Long Shipbuilding Industry Joint Stock Company is 137 months late in payment, with an amount of more than 8 billion VND; JLG Vina One Member Co., Ltd. is 55 months late in payment, with an amount of more than 6 billion VND.
Faced with the above situation, Thanh Hoa Provincial Health Insurance has proposed a number of solutions such as continuing to strengthen information and propaganda; implementing management procedures, urging insurance collection and payment; conducting surprise specialized inspections; publicizing the identities of units that are late in paying insurance... and implementing many other measures.
