The Department of Home Affairs of Hue City said that in 2025, the situation of salaries, bonuses and labor relations in businesses in the area was basically stable; salaries and Tet bonuses of workers continued to increase compared to the previous year, and no salary debts arose.
To date, the department has received 252 reports from businesses on salaries, salary debts in 2025 and the plan for New Year's Day bonuses, Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026. The summary shows that most businesses comply with labor law regulations, contributing to ensuring the rights of workers and maintaining stable labor relations.
The average salary in 2025 in Hue City reached 8.759 million VND/person/month, an increase of 5.26% compared to 2024; the private enterprise and foreign-invested enterprise sector continued to maintain a fairly good salary level. At some businesses, the highest salary for management positions and technical experts reached hundreds of millions of VND/month.
Regarding bonuses, the average Lunar New Year bonus in 2026 reached 1.128 million VND/person, an increase of 10.48%; the average Lunar New Year bonus in Binh Ngo 2026 reached 7.759 million VND/person, an increase of 31.70%, reflecting the positive recovery of production and business activities.
However, the bonus level between types of enterprises has a large difference. FDI enterprises recorded the highest bonus of 324.457 million VND/person, the lowest of 500,000 VND/person; private enterprises the highest of 200 million VND/person, the lowest of 500,000 VND/person.
In the block of enterprises with shares and capital contributions controlled by the State, the highest bonus is 110 million VND/person, the lowest is 1 million VND/person; 100% state-owned enterprises have the highest bonus of 22.560 million VND/person, the lowest is 3 million VND/person.
According to the Department of Home Affairs of Hue City, high bonuses are mainly concentrated in the fields of tourism - services, automobile manufacturing and assembly, textiles - garments.
