On January 31, Ngai Giao Commune Trade Union (HCMC) organized the "Tet for Children" program in 2026, to care for children of union members, workers in difficult circumstances and orphans in the area on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.
In the program, the Organizing Committee and representatives of units and philanthropists presented Tet gifts to about 60 children in difficult circumstances and orphans in the area. Each gift included cash worth from 1 to 3 million VND depending on the circumstances, along with a gift in kind, with a total budget of more than 70 million VND. Thereby, contributing to supporting difficult circumstances to celebrate Tet more fully.
According to Ngai Giao Commune Trade Union, in addition to caring for children, workers in difficult circumstances in Ngai Giao commune also receive attention through many practical activities such as giving Tet gifts, cash support, and supporting air tickets, train and bus tickets to return home for Tet.
Through the series of Tet care activities, Ngai Giao Commune Trade Union continues to affirm its role in accompanying workers, contributing to bringing a warmer, more meaningful and complete spring to difficult circumstances in the area.
