On January 31, the Can Tho City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized the presentation of Tet Nguyen Dan Binh Ngo 2026 gifts to union members and workers (ĐV, CNLĐ) in difficult circumstances in the area. The program is part of a series of Tet care activities of the City Labor Federation in 2026 with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet, celebrate Tet".


Attending the program were Ms. Do Hong Van - Member of the Presidium, Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Hong Ha - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Can Tho City Party Committee and leaders of the City Labor Federation.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, Chairwoman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation - emphasized that for the Trade Union organization, caring for union members and workers, especially during Tet and spring, is not only a regular political task but also a responsibility, affection and gratitude for the silent contributions of the workforce to the development of businesses and the city.

In the coming time, the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Labor Federation will continue to direct Trade Union levels to focus on better implementing the work of representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; strengthen care activities, especially for union members in difficult circumstances, low income, suffering from dangerous diseases, and labor accidents. At the same time, effectively organize cultural and spiritual activities, creating a stable, harmonious and progressive working environment.
At the program, the organizing committee presented 200 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Each gift included 500,000 VND in cash and a gift worth 300,000 VND. Thereby, promptly sharing and encouraging union members and workers on the occasion of Tet and spring.

On this occasion, union members and workers also enjoyed the Trade Union New Year's Eve Meal with a warm and friendly atmosphere. This is not only a year-end meal but also an opportunity for leaders of the City Labor Federation, businesses and workers to sit down together to listen, share and motivate each other.
