Workers get to rest in 4-star hotels
In 3 days (from July 24 - 26), more than 1,300 workers (NLĐ) of Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company (CASUMINA) were able to comfortably play and relax in Phu Quoc according to the plan organized by CASUMINA Trade Union.
Mr. Pham The Thang - an employee of the Planning - Investment Department excitedly - said that in addition to delicious and nutritious meals, employees also stay in 4-star hotels and experience amenities that normally are hard to have.
We are very excited and after these days of rest, we will try to work harder and work better to contribute to the development of the company and also enjoy good benefits," said Mr. Thang.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hien - Deputy General Director, Chairman of CASUMINA Trade Union - this year's plan is that nearly 1,800 workers will go on vacation, worth 6.4 million VND per trip. The total implementation cost is nearly 12 billion VND. Workers who cannot participate because they have to stay to work, ensuring order progress will receive an amount equivalent to the value of the tourist trip.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khoat - Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of the company - said that the company's leadership's viewpoint is to always fully care for the rights, material and spiritual benefits of employees because after all, employees are the ones who create wealth and material things for businesses and society. The organization of annual tourism and resorts for employees of the company is recorded in the collective labor agreement and the employee conference resolution of the company.
Mr. Luu Kim Hong - Chairman of the Trade Union of Nidec Vietnam Company - said that the trade union is also consulting workers' opinions on where to organize tourism and resorts this year. Last year, the company organized nearly 3,000 workers to travel and resort in Nha Trang for 3 days, with a budget of 3 million VND/person, of which the company supported 70%, and the rest was shared by the trade union and workers.
As for PouYuen Vietnam Co., Ltd., for the past 3 weeks, every weekend there have been about 600 employees of the company traveling in Vung Tau during the "PouYuen Company Workers' Family Day". Due to the large number of employees of the company (nearly 41,000 people), from now until the end of the year, every weekend the trade union will organize for about 500 - 600 people to travel to ensure that all employees of the company are relaxed. The cost for each employee is 1.1 million VND, of which the company supports 460,000 VND, employees contribute 300,000 VND, and the rest is supported by the trade union.
We hope that workers after hard working days will be able to rest to regenerate labor. Fortunately, the company's board of directors also shared this view, so they created conditions and accompanied and supported workers to have the opportunity to rest" - Mr. Nghiep said.
