Implementing the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (now the Ministry of Home Affairs) and the We Are Asian Non-Profit Association (WAA) on receiving Vietnamese workers working in the household sector in Japan, the Overseas Labor Center (Colab) announced the candidate selection plan for 2025.
The program is expected to recruit 50 trainees for the household registration exam, divided into many batches, in which the first batch will recruit 20 people. The scope of selection is nationwide, the application period is until the end of June 2025.
The successful candidates will go to Japan to practice for 3 years at nursing homes and health care facilities that are partners of WAA.
Candidates must register from 19 to under 35 years old, have graduated in nursing from the intermediate level or higher.
Require a minimum vision of 7/10 (with glasses), no color blindness, no tattoos. In addition, the candidate has never participated in internship programs in Japan.
Before going to Japan, candidates are supported with Japanese language training costs up to 8 months (15,000 yen/month), Japanese language exam fees (5,000 yen/time, maximum 3 times), health check-up fees, visas, dormitories, living expenses (10,000 yen/month) and air tickets.
If they achieve the N3 Japanese language certificate after 8 months of training, trainees will be rewarded with 10,000 yen. When in Japan, candidates receive a training allowance of 70,000 yen in the first month and an attractive salary of 185,000 yen/month (about 31.5 million VND) for the first two years, increasing to 194,000 yen/month (about 33 million VND) for the third year (excluding allowances, overtime and other support). After completing the program, trainees are supported with air tickets to return home.
Candidates must comply with contracts and laws between Vietnam and Japan, and commit to return home after the end of the program.
If you arbitrarily stop the Japanese language training program ahead of schedule, candidates must return all expenses supported by WAA. When working in Japan, candidates must pay social insurance and taxes according to regulations.

The results will be announced on the website www.colab.gov.vn and notified directly to each candidate.
