Apple is developing a large-sized folding device

Apple is said to be developing a large-sized folding device, which could be launched in late 2026.

Along with the foldable iPhone model that is attracting many speculations, Apple is also quietly developing a large-sized, about 19-inch foldable device.

Some analysts even believe that this device could be launched as early as the end of next year, in parallel with the foldable iPhone.

In a recent research report on post-toll scenarios for Apple, analyst Jeff Pu said that Apple's two foldable screen devices, the 7.8-inch model and the 18.8-inch model, have made significant progress and are expected to enter mass production in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Earlier, last month, Jeff Pu also revealed that Apple's first two foldable devices have officially entered the new product introduction stage at the Foxconn factory. Depending on the time of mass production in the second half of 2026, this large-sized folding device may be launched at the end of next year or later, in 2027.

Meanwhile, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg said that Apple is developing a foldable iPad model with a 20-inch screen, expected to launch in 2028. Analyst Ross Young believes that Apple's foldable tablet device could appear earlier, in the 2026 - 2027 period.

This shows that the launch date of the product is still controversial.

Currently, information about Apple's large foldable screen devices is still quite vague and there is no clear consensus. This is in contrast to the smaller foldable screen iPhone model, as many recent rumors have focused on the launch date in 2026.
