Previously, on August 13, Bamboo Airways successfully held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, thereby electing additional members Le Ba Nguyen, Le Thai Sam, Nguyen Manh Quan, and Mr. Doan Huu Doan as members of the Board of Directors to replace the members who were dismissed.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Trong was elected by the Board of Directors to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Airways, Mr. Doan Huu Doan to hold the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Ba Nguyen to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the 2019 - 2024 term.
According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Trong, Bamboo Airway plans to increase its fleet to 35 aircraft by the end of 2022, 42 aircraft in 2023 and 100 aircraft in 2028.
In the coming time, Bamboo Airways aims to continue promoting and opening new international routes to Asian, European, Australian and further into the Americas. Bamboo Airways will focus on developing long-haul international direct flights, connecting to major airports that are considered the major aviation hub of the continent.

Former Bamboo Airways General Director Dang Tat Thang said that he has completed his combat mission and is ready for the transfer of Bamboo Airways to the new investor, ensuring new and old rights as well as those of Bamboo Airways.
The extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of Bamboo Airways on August 13 elected Mr. Le Ba Nguyen, Mr. Le Thai Sam, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quan, Mr. Doan Huu Doan as additional members of the Board of Directors (BOD) to replace the members who had been dismissed.
Notably, Mr. Le Ba Nguyen is the brother-in-law of former FLC Group Chairman Trinh Van Quyet.
Mr. Le Thai Sam is a shareholder owning more than 125,000 shares in Bamboo Airways. Mr. Sam has also led many companies related to construction investment and steel.
