According to the latest update from Forbes, the total assets of the 5 richest billionaires in Vietnam amount to 47 billion USD.

According to Forbes' update (June 23, 2026), the assets of Vietnamese billionaires in the ranking of the richest people on the planet have increased, reflecting the positive developments of business and market values.

Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong's net worth - Chairman of Vingroup is currently estimated at 33.9 billion USD, an increase of about 1.6 billion USD compared to the update on June 6. Notably, not only increasing in asset value, Mr. Vuong's ranking has also improved significantly, from 69th to 67th in the world.

With this level of assets, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong has now surpassed billionaire Jack Ma - the founder of Alibaba Group, who owns about 28 billion USD according to Forbes real-time data.

Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong's asset increase mainly came from the positive developments of VIC shares on the Vietnamese stock market. In the trading session on June 23, VIC code increased sharply, at times up to about 219,800 VND/share (adjusted price), approaching the historical peak and attracting large cash flow.

The spread did not stop at VIC but expanded to stocks in the Vingroup ecosystem. VHM shares increased to a maximum amplitude of 155,400 VND/share, while VPL maintained positive trading around the above 91,900 VND/share range.

The "Vingroup" stock group, especially VIC and VHM, continued to play a pillar role, contributing to supporting VN-Index to maintain green color in the session. At the same time, Vingroup's capitalization continued to improve, consolidating its position in the group of largest enterprises in the market.

In the domestic market, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong still maintains the position of the richest person in Vietnam, with asset values fluctuating according to the developments of key stocks in the Vingroup ecosystem, and is also one of the billionaires with significant influence in Southeast Asia.

Following Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao - Chairwoman of Vietjet Air's Board of Directors. Currently, Ms. Thao owns assets worth 4.2 billion USD, an increase of 27 million USD compared to the update at Forbes previously. In the global rankings, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao is ranked 1010th.

Ms. Pham Thu Huong - Vice President of Vingroup Group with assets worth 3.8 billion USD, an increase of 246 million USD compared to the date of the previous Forbes update. Currently, she ranks No. 1, 131st in the world.

Next, Ms. Pham Thuy Hang - Vice President of Vingroup Group owns assets worth 2.7 billion USD, an increase of 173 million USD. Ms. Hang is currently ranked No. 1,565 in the world.

At the bottom of the list is Mr. Tran Dinh Long - Chairman of Hoa Phat Group, holding assets of about 2.6 billion USD, ranked 1,606th in the global billionaire list.
