Updated bulletin issued at 8:07 am on June 22 from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, through monitoring on satellite images, weather radar images and lightning positioning data, convective clouds are forming and developing in the ward/commune areas of Quang Oai, Tung Thien, Bat Bat, Vat Lai, Minh Chau, Suoi Hai. This cloud area tends to develop and expand further.
In the period from now until the next 3 hours, the above-mentioned wards/communes will have showers and thunderstorms, then spread to wards/communes: Phuc Tho, Doai Phuong, Yen Bai, Ba Vi, Phu Cat... and other areas of Hanoi city.
In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Warning level of natural disaster risk due to tornadoes, lightning, and hail is level 1.
Regarding the main weather in Hanoi, on June 22, it will be intensely hot, especially intense in some places. South to southwest wind level 2 - 3. The highest temperature is commonly 37 - 39 degrees C, in some places above 39 degrees C. In the late afternoon and night, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. The lowest temperature fluctuates from 28 - 30 degrees C.
