Colonel Dang Quang Trung, Head of Economic Defense Delegation 207, said: At the beginning of 2026, the Ministry of National Defense approved the investment policy to build the Tay Giang - Nam Giang Economic Defense Zone project, Da Nang city in the period 2026 - 2029. To deploy, the Delegation has coordinated with the consulting unit to complete surveys and develop projects for 3 rural traffic road items, 6.8km long, build new barracks for Agro-Forestry Production Team 3 and 4. The unit coordinated with the government of Hung Son and Dac Pring communes to survey clean water supply lines for 200 households, measure land points to build production support models for people.
In the period 2024 - 2025, the Delegation effectively implemented the National Target Program for socio-economic development of ethnic minority (DTTS) and mountainous areas and the livelihood diversification project to help people eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, and be sustainable. Accordingly, the unit supported 1,415 poor, near-poor and newly escaped poverty ethnic minority households in 6 communes (La Êê, La Dê Êê, Nam Giang, Phước Năng, Đắc Pring, Hùng Sơn) in the project area.
