On April 15, the Quang Tri Provincial Women's Union said that in the past time, the unit has coordinated with sectors and localities to implement many programs to support ethnic minority women to develop the economy and adapt to climate change.
Typically, the agricultural livelihood support project funded by KOICA, implemented in the period 2025-2027 with a budget of more than 19 billion VND. The project focuses on supporting models such as growing bamboo, raising hybrid chickens, growing mushrooms, contributing to improving income for 140 households.
The models initially bring clear efficiency, products are guaranteed consumption, reduce market risks, and create motivation for people to expand production.
In addition, the Provincial Women's Union promotes training on technology application, supports brand building, develops goat and pig farming, and improves living conditions for women in difficult communes.
Through movements to support poor women and community communication projects, the awareness and working methods of ethnic minority women have gradually changed, contributing to enhancing their position and economic power.
In the coming time, the association will continue to support livelihoods, create conditions to access capital sources, help women develop production, increase income and improve their lives.
