Coming to Hoa Thien hamlet, Dinh Hoa commune, Go Quao district, Kien Giang province, the name Mr. Danh Thach is no longer strange to the people in the area. As Deputy Head of the hamlet, Head of the Veterans Association and a prestigious person among ethnic minorities, Mr. Thach has made many practical contributions to changing the face of the countryside.

In Hoa Thien hamlet, the Khmer ethnic group accounts for 78% of the population, this is a rural area with many difficulties. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the local government and the active contributions of Mr. Thach, people's lives are increasingly improved.

Mr. Danh Thach has closely coordinated with relevant agencies to implement many programs to support economic development for ethnic minorities. “We focus on supporting people to borrow social credit loans, providing guidance on farming and livestock raising techniques. In addition, we mobilize philanthropists to build houses, support gifts for poor households, and help people have the motivation to improve their lives,” Mr. Danh Thach shared.

Not only supporting the economy, Mr. Thach also cares about building cultural life. He actively propagates and mobilizes people to implement environmental improvement models such as building garbage pits, planting trees as fences, lighting up country roads, and maintaining environmental hygiene. These activities have contributed significantly to the construction of new advanced rural areas in Dinh Hoa commune.
