Binh Dinh and Thanh Hoa provinces are urgently completing the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.

According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Binh Dinh province, the whole province has 4,412 households supported under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Of which, 2,535 households were newly built and 1,877 households were repaired. In recent times, the province has focused on directing and implementing the approved plan to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

As of April 29, the whole province has started construction of 4,409 households (2,532 new households built, 1,877 households repaired), reaching a rate of 99.9%. The remaining 3 households have not started construction because their families have passed away. To date, the province has completed and put into use 3,608 houses, reaching a rate of 82%.

Among them, many districts and towns have completed the goal of eliminating temporary houses, typically Tuy Phuoc district, Tay Son and An Nhon town, with the completion rate reaching 100%.

Localities focus on directing and supervising the construction of new houses and repair houses to ensure technical safety, safety and sustainability, especially for households in especially difficult circumstances.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Binh Dinh province said that the total disbursement cost for the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is more than 126 billion VND. In addition, agencies and units have mobilized additional community resources with a total cost of VND 22.4 billion and nearly 524 tons of cement.

With the above results, Binh Dinh province strives to complete the remaining 804 households (including 762 newly built households and 42 repaired households) in May 2025.
