In Ho Chi Minh City, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, 323 houses of poor and near-poor households have been repaired with a budget of more than 25.3 billion VND.

Bao Lam district, Lam Dong has completed the elimination of 193 temporary houses, contributing to helping poor households and ethnic minority households overcome difficulties and escape poverty. Ms. Ka Du, one of the families supported to eliminate temporary houses, shared: My family is a poor household, unable to build a new house, so for many years, all 4 people had to live in a dilapidated house. At the end of 2024, the local government and Dong Nai Hydropower Company supported the construction of a new house worth more than 150 million VND. With a new house, my family can work with peace of mind and hope to escape poverty soon.
