Accordingly, on November 11, the Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs of Gia Lai province held a conference to announce the decision on cadres under its jurisdiction.
The Department has published retirement decisions before the age according to the Government's Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP for 4 public and religious officials; decisions to appoint the position of Head and Deputy Head of the Department; mobilize civil servants between departments of the Department.
The conference aims to urgently stabilize the organizational structure to put into operation, ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of operation after arranging and streamlining the organizational structure.
Notably, the consolidation of the machine contributes to strengthening leadership capacity, ensuring continuity in leadership and managing professional tasks inherited and developing in the new period. At the same time, supplementing personnel to the specialized department is still lacking.
At the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Ba Thach - Director of the Department of Ethnic and Religion of Gia Lai Province - said that for officials who have just appointed and accepted new tasks, it is necessary to continue promoting intelligence, discipline, strictly practicing leadership, advising the Board of Directors to complete the assigned professional tasks.

The Department of Ethnic Minority and Religion of Gia Lai Province is a specialized agency of the Provincial People's Committee, established on the basis of the Provincial Ethnic Minority Committee to receive more functions, tasks and organize the state management apparatus from the Department of Home Affairs; have the function of advising and assisting the provincial People's Committee to perform state management of ethnicity, beliefs and religions. The Department consists of 3 specialized departments: Administration - General, ethnic work, religious work.
