Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Pham Hoang Son has just signed and issued a plan on organizing activities to respond to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control in 2026 with the theme "United determination to build communes, wards, and special zones without drugs".
Accordingly, through response activities, Bac Ninh province has gradually realized the goal of building a safe and sustainable community without drugs.
According to the plan, from 6:00 AM to 6:30 AM on June 27, 2026, Bac Ninh will participate in the national online meeting to respond to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control chaired by the Ministry of Public Security, which will be broadcast live from Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square (Hanoi) to provincial-level bridge points and 98 commune and ward bridge points in the province.
On the sidelines of the program, a real-world experience space will be organized to raise community awareness about the harmful effects of drugs, including the following contents: Identifying drugs; warning of drugs disguised as food, e-cigarettes; virtual reality experience about the harmful effects of drugs and the thematic exhibition "One drug test - risking the future".
Immediately after the rally, from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM on the same day, Bac Ninh province will simultaneously organize the "Joining hands to build communes, wards, and special zones without drugs" movement at the provincial-level bridge point and 98 communes and wards.
It is expected to attract at least 20,000 people to participate in response activities throughout the area; of which the provincial-level bridge point has 600-800 participants and each commune and ward mobilizes at least 200-250 people.
