According to the Bac Ninh Provincial Electronic Information Portal, Xuan Lai communal house (Xuan Lai village, Gia Binh commune, Bac Ninh province) worships Duc Thanh Tam Giang Uy Dich Dai Vuong, surnamed Truong Hat, and coordinates to worship Duc Ong Dung Do Thien and Duc Ong Hung Do Thien.
Xuan Lai communal house was originally built a long time ago and has undergone many restorations and renovations. Before being burned down in the resistance war against France, the communal house was large in scale and famously beautiful in the region.
After the 1948 raid, Xuan Lai communal house only had the Hau Cung tower left. After peace was restored, the local people contributed labor and money to repair the Hau Cung tower. In 1993, the Tien Dinh tower was rebuilt on the old foundation of the old land in its traditional shape.
By 2018, local people had dismantled the old communal house and started rebuilding the new communal house on the old land.
Xuan Lai communal house includes the works: Nghi Mon, Dai Dinh, 2 rows of Dai Vu houses. In which, the main communal house has a dinh-shaped architecture, including Dai Dinh and Hau Cung.
Currently, the communal house still preserves many precious artifacts such as: altars, statues, swords, sacred boxes, relics, altar trays, parallel sentences (the above artifacts all date back to the Nguyen Dynasty). In addition, the communal house also preserves ancient steles, incense bowls, bowls of offerings...
The festival of Xuan Lai communal house is currently held for two days, from November 15 to 16 of the lunar calendar.
In the festival, there are many unique cultural activities such as: volleyball, badminton, football, gymnastics, pigeon release, poetry club..., in the evening there is Cheo singing, Quan Ho giao lưu with friendly villages, which has attracted a large number of people to participate, contributing to tightening village solidarity, community cohesion, and enriching local cultural traditions.
Xuan Lai communal house was ranked as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic in Decision No. 1048/QD-UBND of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee, dated September 17, 2015.
