Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Plan to implement the Program for development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas (DTTS&MN) in the period 2026 - 2030.
The general objective is to effectively implement Program No. 22-CT/TU dated March 28, 2026 of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee on developing ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Bac Ninh province in the period 2026 - 2030.
Implement integration, prioritize allocating provincial budget resources to develop essential infrastructure, human resources, and enhance the quality of public services in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
Sustainable and comprehensive development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas effectively using investment resources supported by the Central Government, effectively exploiting the potential and strengths of communes; promoting rapid and sustainable multidimensional poverty reduction, ensuring social security, improving income, quality of life and access to basic services for people; narrowing the development gap between ethnic minority and mountainous areas and other areas in the province, building a substantive new rural area, associated with adapting to climate change.
Preserving and promoting the good cultural identity of ethnic minority communities; consolidating the great national unity bloc, enhancing the belief of ethnic minorities in the guidelines and policies of the Party and State; ensuring national defense, security and social order and safety.
The total capital expected to be invested in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period 2026 - 2030 is about 25,000 billion VND.
