From April 8 to 11, the working delegation of the Border Guard Command of Quang Binh province, led by Colonel Dang Van Hoang - Deputy Commander of the Professional Affairs - visited and wished a traditional New Year to Bunpimay to the Lao border guards in the provinces of Kham Muon and Sa Van Na Khet.
During the visit, Colonel Dang Van Hoang sent his congratulations to the Lao armed forces, wished officers, soldiers and their families a happy and warm Bunpimay, and at the same time acknowledged the achievements of the armed forces of the two countries in border protection, contributing to promoting economic, cultural and social development.
At the working sessions, leaders of the units discussed the local economic, political and social situation, and reported the results achieved in the coordination of border protection, border markers and the fight against illegal activities.
Both sides emphasized the importance of the cooperative relationship and pledged to continue implementing the contents of the signed documents.
In 2025, the Border Guard of Quang Binh province will continue to organize training programs on border defense for the Lao border protection force, coordinate the organization of crime prevention drills and legal education for people on both sides of the border.
The goal is to join hands to build a peaceful, stable and developing border, contributing to tightening solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
