On July 26, information from the People's Committee of Nghe An province said that the Provincial Border Guard Command had just organized a launching ceremony to support the construction of Inter-level Ethnic Minority Boarding Schools in border communes.
Attending and directing the launching ceremony were Colonel Ho Quyet Thang - Deputy Commander cum Chief of Staff of the Border Guard of Nghe An province. Also attending were leaders of departments, divisions, and units directly under the Border Guard of the province, along with representatives of Party committees and authorities of Con Cuong and Mon Son communes.
The mobilization of cadres and soldiers to support school construction aims to implement the Party and State's policy on education development in ethnic minority areas and border areas.
This activity contributes to improving learning and living conditions for students, improving the quality of local human resources, and gradually narrowing the development gap between mountainous and delta areas.
This is also an activity to concretize the role of the Border Guard force in participating in socio-economic development, building political bases, consolidating the all-people border defense and the people's hearts posture in the border area.
According to the People's Committee of Nghe An province, the direct participation of officers and soldiers in the construction of the project continues to affirm the role of the Provincial Border Guard in social security work and caring for the lives of ethnic minorities in border areas.
Every day of labor of officers and soldiers not only contributes to building spacious schools but also strengthens the close relationship between the Border Guard force and the Party committees, authorities and local people.
After completion, the projects will create better learning and living conditions for students in border areas, contributing to human resource training, promoting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and building a sustainable Nghe An border area.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, officers and soldiers of the units urgently deployed the tasks according to the plan, coordinating with the construction unit to accelerate the construction progress.
The forces strive to complete the project before August 30, 2026, and put it into use in the 2026-2027 school year.
