On the morning of July 14, the Border Guard (BGB) of Khanh Hoa province visited and encouraged the family of Mr. Mau Hoanh (born 1975, residing in Hap Phu village, Khanh Son commune).
At the same time, inspect the progress of housing construction and encourage officers and soldiers who are participating in supporting families to build houses.
Mr. Mau Hoanh is the son of a resistance activist who was infected with chemical toxins.
The family is in particularly difficult circumstances when all four brothers are affected by chemical toxins, have weak health, limited cognitive abilities, and are unable to work.
The family's life mainly relies on the support of local authorities and the community.
At the visit, Colonel Phan Thang Long - Commander of Khanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard Command encouraged the family to overcome difficulties, and at the same time presented practical gifts to share and add motivation for the family to soon stabilize their lives in the new house.
Inspecting the construction site, the Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command praised the sense of responsibility of officers, soldiers and forces participating in supporting construction.
At the same time, requesting the unit to continue to closely coordinate with the Party Committee and local authorities, take advantage of favorable weather, mobilize forces and vehicles to accelerate construction progress, strive to complete the house before July 20, ensuring quality and safety.
Housing construction support activities demonstrate the responsibility and affection of officers and soldiers of Khanh Hoa Border Guard for policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution; contributing to spreading the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", and at the same time strengthening the close relationship between the Border Guard force and Party committees, authorities and people in the area.
