On the occasion of the Bunpimay traditional Tet of the Lao ethnic people, a delegation from the Military Command (Military Command) of Da Nang City led by Colonel Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Political Commissar - visited, presented gifts, provided medical examinations, and distributed free medicine to the people of Dak Chung district, Sekong province.

In the atmosphere of deep solidarity and special friendship between Vietnam and Laos, the working delegation presented nearly 400 gifts to households in 6 villages in Dak Chung district. The gifts, although not large in material terms, contained sincere feelings, sharing and responsibility of Da Nang city soldiers towards the people of the border region of the friendly country on the occasion of welcoming the new year of Bunpimay.
Along with the gift-giving activity, doctors and nurses in the delegation organized medical examinations, health consultations and free medicine distribution for more than 450 people. The activity was implemented thoughtfully and practically, contributing to primary health care for people, promptly encouraging and supporting families with many difficulties.

Receiving the affection of the working delegation, the Party Committee, government and people of Dak Chung district expressed their emotion and deep gratitude for the concern of the Da Nang City Military Command.
Visiting, giving gifts, medical examinations, and dispensing medicine to the people of Laos is an annual activity of the Da Nang City Military Command every Bunpimay Tet.
Not only carrying profound humanistic meaning, the program also contributes to caring for the lives of people in border areas, continuing to cultivate the special solidarity and steadfast loyalty relationship between the people of Vietnam and Laos in general, and between Da Nang city and Sekong province in particular; thereby further enhancing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States, armies and peoples of the two countries.
