Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, agencies and units throughout Naval Region 2 have launched a fundraising campaign to support the Cuban people. This is a practical activity to celebrate the "Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Year 2025" and the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
After 2 weeks of launching, officers and soldiers from the mainland to ships, islands and boats have unanimously donated and conveyed their sincere feelings to the Cuban people. With a voluntary spirit, the whole Region has contributed more than 260 million VND.
Although not large in material things, the contributions contain noble gestures and loyal affection of officers and soldiers at the head of the storm, expressing the desire to share, adding motivation for the Cuban people to overcome difficulties and build an increasingly developed country.
