These days, when the atmosphere of preparing to welcome the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 is everywhere, Coast Guard ship 3002, Flotilla 421, Naval Flotilla 42, Coast Guard Region 4 Command is still breaking the waves to perform Tet duty, patrolling and controlling, and enforcing the law.
This task not only contributes to firmly protecting sovereignty, security, and safety at sea, but also for a peaceful Spring in the Southwest sea of the Fatherland.
Officers and soldiers of Coast Guard Vessel 3002 always maintain strict duty regimes, strengthen patrols and controls in the assigned sea area. Focus on monitoring and firmly grasping the situation at sea, promptly detecting, preventing and strictly handling violations of the law, contributing to maintaining security and order, creating a peaceful and stable environment for fishermen to feel secure in going offshore and sticking to the sea.
In addition, Coast Guard ship 3002 also promotes propaganda and dissemination of laws to fishermen operating at sea. The content of propaganda focuses on regulations on preventing and combating illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing; guiding people on measures to ensure maritime safety, prevent accidents and incidents at sea.

During Tet, in addition to propagating the law, the Task Force of Coast Guard Vessel 3002 also paid attention to visiting, encouraging, wishing Tet and giving gifts to fishermen who are fishing offshore. Simple Tet gifts but imbued with military-civilian affection, showing the deep concern of Coast Guard officers and soldiers for fishermen making a living at sea when Tet comes, Spring returns.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tien, a fisherman on fishing vessel KG 95008 TS, shared: "In the open sea, you come to the ship to propagate, visit, encourage, and wish Tet, we are very happy to be cared for. With you side by side, we people are even more confident, determined to stick to the sea and strictly comply with regulations on seafood exploitation.
Captain Nguyen Anh Lam - Captain of CSB ship 3002 said: Tet duty at sea is a special task, so officers and soldiers throughout the ship are always united, unanimous, upholding political bravery, sense of responsibility and the highest determination. The unit always maintains strict combat readiness duty, proactively grasps the situation, handles situations promptly and in accordance with the law, absolutely does not be passive or surprised, and ensures absolute safety for people and technical equipment.
Welcoming Tet away from home, away from family, but for officers and soldiers of Coast Guard Vessel 3002 in particular and Vietnamese Coast Guard soldiers in general, the most complete joy is completing the assigned tasks well, contributing to maintaining peace at sea. They are also a solid support, adding faith and motivation for fishermen to feel secure in going offshore and sticking to the sea, firmly consolidating the "people's heart formation" at sea, creating a combined strength to protect the sacred sovereignty and security of the Fatherland's sea and islands.
