During the working trip to grasp the situation of the southwestern sea and islands of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command and the authorities of the four provinces of Kien Giang, Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, and Soc Trang, the working delegation was present in Tho Chau island commune, Phu Quoc city.
The working group visited, offered incense, and offered flowers at Tho Chau Temple. After the visiting ceremony, the delegation had a meeting, discussed, grasped the situation and visited and presented gifts to local Party committees, authorities and armed forces agencies and units working and stationed in the area. The delegation also presented 24 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to policy families and fishermen in difficult circumstances in Tho Chau commune.

On behalf of the working group, Major General Nguyen Van Dung - Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 4 congratulated the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Tho Chau island commune in recent times. Major General Nguyen Van Dung also informed about the tasks and some outstanding activities of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command in the past time. The Political Commissar hopes that the army and people of Tho Chau island commune will always be united and united, continue to cling to the sea and islands to both develop the socio-economy and firmly protect sovereignty, maintain political security, order and safety in the southern negative currency of the Fatherland.

Next, the Working Group disseminated the law to fishermen operating in the Bai Ngu Port area. Here, the delegation presented dozens of gifts, photos of Uncle Ho, the National Flag and distributed hundreds of leaflets and handbooks to propagate the law to captains of fishing vessels and fishermen.
This is not only an opportunity for authorities and localities to survey and grasp the situation on the island more clearly, but also contributes to fostering the close relationship between the army and people, between the mainland and islands, deepening the determination to protect the sovereignty of the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland.
