On May 27, the People's Committee of Kien Giang province held a meeting to listen to a report on the preparation work to organize the inauguration ceremony of the Memorial Temple for heroes, martyrs and meritorious people of Kien Giang province.
According to the draft plan, the inauguration ceremony of the Memorial Temple for Heroes, Martyrs and Meritorious People of Kien Giang province is expected to be held in September 2025 on a provincial scale, at the new urban area encroaching on the Northwest sea, Rach Gia city.
In addition to the main activities, the inauguration ceremony will offer incense to commemorate the heroes, martyrs and meritorious people of Kien Giang province; reward individuals and groups with contributions to the construction of the project; plant memorial trees at the Memorial Temple.
In addition, Kien Giang province will organize activities to respond and celebrate the inauguration ceremony, such as: displaying and introducing books about heroes, martyrs and meritorious people of Kien Giang province; displaying and introducing OCOP products, typical rural industrial products, typical products of the province; displaying photo exhibitions of Rach Gia and Kien Giang province in the past and present; organizing cultural, artistic and sports activities.
In his speech, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho requested to strengthen the propaganda of a series of activities towards the celebration of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27 and the Inauguration Ceremony of the Memorial Temple for Heroes, Martyrs and Meritorious People of Kien Giang Province; educate traditions, arouse patriotism, homeland and revolutionary will for generations of Vietnamese people.
Deploy propaganda activities, design billboards, slogans, and cheering information; organize visual cheering activities around the inauguration ceremony area.
Develop a script for a staged art program about the historical traditions of Kien Giang province and the purpose and meaning of building a memorial temple for heroes, martyrs and meritorious people of Kien Giang province. Ensure the organization of the inauguration ceremony thoughtfully and solemnly, demonstrating respect and gratitude for the great contributions of heroes, martyrs and meritorious people of Kien Giang province.
