On August 3, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that Cao Son Commune Police praised Mr. Vang Gia (born 1989, residing in Sa San village, Cao Son commune) for his honest action when he proactively handed over the found property to return to the person who dropped it.
At about 2 pm on August 2, while passing through the Ma Cai Thang village area, Cao Son commune, Mr. Vang Gia discovered an Oppo mobile phone dropped on the roadside. The phone is estimated to be worth more than 10 million VND.
Not keeping the property, Mr. Vang Gia quickly brought the phone to the Cao Son Commune Police headquarters to report, asking the functional forces to verify the owner.

Immediately after receiving the information, Cao Son Commune Police proceeded to manage the property according to regulations, and urgently verified the person who dropped it.
Through verification, the police force identified the owner of the phone as Mr. Sung Lenh (born in 1990, residing in Ngai Phong Cho village, Cao Son commune). After that, the property was fully returned to the owner.
Receiving the phone back, Mr. Sung Lenh expressed his joy and thanked Mr. Vang Gia and Cao Son Commune Police officers for their dedicated support in verifying and helping him quickly get back the lost property.
According to Cao Son Commune Police, Mr. Vang Gia's actions demonstrate his honesty, awareness of law compliance and responsibility to the community. This is a beautiful gesture that needs to be praised, contributing to spreading positive values and building a civilized lifestyle in society.
The police force also recommends that people need to raise awareness of preserving personal property during travel.
