Khanh Hoa - The 0-dong swimming and martial arts class co-organized by Dai Lanh Commune Police helps children practice drowning prevention skills, self-defense and have a useful summer.

In the middle of summer days, Dai Lanh beach is busier with the laughter of young children participating in the 0-dong swimming and martial arts class organized by Dai Lanh Commune Police (Khanh Hoa province) in coordination with the Commune Youth Union. After many weeks of studying, what makes officers and soldiers happiest is not the number of students, but the maturity and progress of each child.

In the early days, many children were still hesitant, not daring to go down to the water or just clinging to the lake wall. With the dedicated guidance of police officers and youth union members, they gradually overcame their fears, knew how to float, pedal, regulate breathing, practice safe swimming skills and handle basic situations when encountering problems underwater.

To date, many students have been able to confidently swim long distances, coordinate movements proficiently and support friends in the training process. Confidence and joy are evident on the faces of the children after each class, becoming the most meaningful achievement of the class.

In parallel with swimming lessons, martial arts classes also attract a large number of children to participate. Children are trained in physical strength, discipline, confidence and basic self-defense skills. From clumsy movements, students perform more and more accurately and decisively, forming agile demeanor and spirit of solidarity.

For officers and soldiers of Dai Lanh Commune Police, each class is not only about teaching skills but also an opportunity to connect and accompany young children. Witnessing students boldly going into the water, confidently swimming the first meters or completing martial arts exercises is a source of motivation for the Police force to continue to maintain this meaningful model.

The 0 VND swimming and martial arts class not only contributes to equipping drowning prevention and control skills, improving health, but also creates a healthy summer playground for young people in the area. Through this, the image of the People's Police soldier is increasingly close and friendly, contributing to spreading the spirit of responsibility, sharing and for the community, joining hands to build a safe and useful summer for children.
