Implementing the national digital transformation policy, in the past time, La Lay Commune Police, Quang Tri province has maintained the effectiveness of supporting people to activate level 2 electronic identification accounts and integrate various types of documents on the VNeID application at the unit's headquarters, according to the e-Portal of Quang Tri Provincial Police.
Officers and soldiers of La Lay commune police directly guided people to install and use the VNeID application; supported the activation of level 2 electronic identification accounts; and issued citizen identification cards to children from 6 to under 14 years old and citizens from 14 years old or older. At the same time, the unit guided people to integrate essential documents such as driver's licenses, health insurance cards, and social security accounts into the VNeID application.
To date, the locality has issued ID cards to 5,568/5,712 citizens aged 14 and over, reaching 97.5%; issued ID cards to 329/1,460 citizens aged 6 to under 14, reaching 22.5%; successfully activated 4,332/4,670 level 2 electronic identification accounts, reaching 93%; supported the integration of 934/4,165 social security accounts, reaching 22%; 585/4,165 driver's licenses, reaching 14%; 2,210/4,670 health insurance cards, reaching 47%.
The implementation process is carried out scientifically, in accordance with procedures, creating convenience for people, especially the elderly, ethnic minorities and those who are not proficient in using smartphones.
Thanks to direct guidance, many people have proactively used the utilities on VNeID to carry out administrative procedures, civil transactions and online public services. Thereby, contributing to saving time and travel costs for people, while improving the efficiency of exploitation and use of population data, identification and electronic authentication.
In the coming time, La Lay commune police will continue to maintain support activities at headquarters, and at the same time strengthen mobile propaganda to grassroots levels to help people better understand the utilities of the VNeID application, contributing to the effective implementation of Project 06 of the Government.
