On August 3, Tan An Commune Police coordinated with Nghe An Provincial Police to launch 2 models "Three together, one heart for the people" and "Propaganda, dissemination and legal education in cyberspace".
Attending the program were Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tat Thang - Deputy Head of PX03 Department, Nghe An Provincial Police; leaders of Tan An Commune People's Committee and representatives of departments, branches, unions and local people.
At the program, Tan An Commune Police announced the decision to establish, operating regulations, and specific task assignments for each model; and signed commitments to coordinate implementation with socio-political organizations in the area.
The "Three together, one heart for the people" model aims to strengthen the relationship between the police force and the people, helping police officers stick to the grassroots level, grasp the situation and promptly resolve cases arising from residential areas.
The model also promotes the role of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, village elders and reputable people in the community.
For the model "Propagating and disseminating legal education in cyberspace", Tan An Commune Police will build official information channels on social networks, post news, articles, and videos to propagate laws and receive feedback from people.
This activity aims to increase the effectiveness of propaganda, warning of methods and tricks of fraud, and preventing violations of the law in the online environment.
Speaking at the program, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tat Thang highly appreciated the proactiveness of Tan An Commune Police in building models suitable to the local situation.
The Deputy Head of PX03 Department requested Tan An Commune Police to link the activities of the models with grassroots situation grasp, promptly resolve cases right from the time they arise; and at the same time strengthen the application of information technology in propaganda and dissemination of laws.
Representatives of Tan An Commune People's Committee said that the locality will coordinate with the police force, departments, branches, and mass organizations to effectively implement the 2 models; and integrate the content of ensuring security and order into activities at the grassroots level.
The implementation of 2 models aims to expand the connection channel between the police and people, raise awareness of law compliance, proactively prevent crime and maintain security and order in the area.
Tan An is a mountainous commune of Nghe An province, established on the basis of merging 3 communes Nghia Phuc, Huong Son and Tan An, formerly belonging to Tan Ky district. The commune has an area of 90.41km2, a population of 22,775 people with 21 hamlets; ethnic minorities Thai and Tho account for 18.41% of the population and have 1 particularly difficult hamlet. The vast area and diverse population raise the requirement to strengthen grassroots presence and promote the role of people in ensuring security and order.
