Van Lang Commune Police, Thai Nguyen province has just organized propaganda and mobilized Protestant group followers and people of Khuoi Noc village to strictly comply with the provisions of law on beliefs and religions; and at the same time raise vigilance against tricks that take advantage of ethnic and religious issues to sabotage in cyberspace, according to the e-Portal of Thai Nguyen Provincial Police.
At the propaganda session, police officers of Van Lang commune disseminated legal regulations on the right to freedom of belief and religion; guided the organization of religious activities in accordance with regulations; mobilized people to promote the spirit of solidarity, live "good life, beautiful religion", and actively participate in the movement to protect national security.
The police force also provided information about the methods and tricks of hostile and reactionary forces taking advantage of ethnic and religious issues to distort the Party and State's guidelines and policies; inciting and defaming leaders, agencies, and organizations in cyberspace to divide the great national unity bloc.
People are advised not to share, comment or spread unverified information; when detecting bad or toxic content, it is necessary to promptly notify functional agencies for handling.
The propaganda session attracted 50 followers, 20 believers and representatives of households to participate. Thereby contributing to raising awareness of law compliance, strengthening vigilance against plots to take advantage of religion to sabotage and acts of fraud and appropriation of property in cyberspace.
