On November 4, according to information from the People's Committee of Da Nang City, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Quang Buu City has just signed Decision No. 2332/QD-UBND approving the project of Construction of development, expansion of digital infrastructure, cloud computing infrastructure of the City to meet the need to expand the deployment of information infrastructure, the need to develop big data, infrastructure for artificial intelligence in problems on digital government, smart cities and new digital economic models.
The project implementation location is at the Da Nang City Data Center and agencies and units in the city. The project is invested from the central budget to support Da Nang city. The implementation period is from 2025 to 2027.
Regarding the content and scale of investment: Upgrading and expanding IT infrastructure at the City Data Center, ensuring the capacity to serve Digital Transformation, including: Calculating infrastructure equipment; storage infrastructure equipment; network and security infrastructure equipment and solutions; Backup and data recovery infrastructure equipment; Cloud computing platform system.
Upgrading the technical infrastructure of the City Data Center, including: Power supply system and backup power sources; Refrigeration system; Data Center monitoring and operation system.
Upgrade and expand the city's SD-WAN network system to connect to grassroots levels, including: Deploying SD-WAN connection equipment at grassroots level; Upgrade and expand SD-WAN connection equipment at the Data Center; Upgrade and expand the centralized SD-WAN network management and operation components, upgrade transmission lines.
