Internet approaches border compatriots
The Youth Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Police has just organized the inauguration and handover of community Internet access points - Digital literacy, helping people in K Ai village, Dan Hoa commune access information technology and digital services.
Responding to the 2026 Youth Month and the program "March Border - Border of My Fatherland", the youth of Quang Tri Provincial Police have implemented many practical projects and tasks towards grassroots levels, especially communes in border areas that are still facing many difficulties.
In which, the project "Community Internet Access Point - Digital Education for All" in Dan Hoa commune is considered a typical highlight. The model aims to bring the Internet closer to people in border areas, creating conditions for people to access information technology, gradually forming digital skills in life.
According to the Youth Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Police, 3 community Internet access points are installed at the Dan Hoa Commune Public Administration Center and community activity houses in La Trong and Bai Dinh villages. These access points are equipped with Internet connection equipment, serving the needs of people to look up information, study and perform online services.
The model is implemented by the Provincial Police Youth Committee in coordination with Dan Hoa Commune Police, with the desire to create a close and convenient technology access space for local people.
Contributing to narrowing the digital gap
Dan Hoa is a border commune with many difficulties in Quang Tri province, where the Bru - Van Kieu and Chut ethnic people mainly live. Access to technology and the Internet for people is still limited, especially for the elderly, women and teenagers in remote villages.

Not only serving the needs of information lookup, these access points also create conditions for people to access and use online public services, one of the important contents of the current national digital transformation program.
At the access points, youth union members of Quang Tri Provincial Police and Dan Hoa Commune Police will directly support and guide people on how to use computers, access the Internet, look up information, as well as perform online administrative procedures.
In addition, people are also guided to access applications serving life and production, gradually forming the habit of using technology, and improving digital skills in the community.
According to a representative of the Youth Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Police, the model "Community Internet Access Point - Digital Literacy" is not simply providing Internet connection, but also aims to popularize digital knowledge for people in border areas.
Through this activity, each youth union member will become a "digital transformation propagandist", contributing to bringing the guidelines and policies on digital transformation closer to people in border areas.
Along with the handover of community Internet access points, the Youth Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Police also donated 1 set of computers to Dan Hoa Commune Police to support grassroots police forces in improving work efficiency.
The application of information technology in professional activities not only contributes to improving the quality of service to people but also helps grassroots police forces to perform well the task of ensuring security and order on the border line.
The model "Community Internet Access Point - Digital Literacy" is considered a practical and meaningful project in the 2026 Youth Month, demonstrating the pioneering, creative and responsible spirit for the community of Quang Tri Police youth.
Thereby, contributing to spreading the image of People's Police soldiers close to the people, accompanying the development of border areas, gradually narrowing the digital gap between favorable and difficult areas.
