280 phone SIMs worth 28 million VND were donated by businesses to support people in difficult circumstances to activate level 2 electronic identification accounts.

Implementing the 40-day and night peak period of issuing ID cards, collecting and activating level 2 electronic identification accounts, Uar Commune Police (Gia Lai) advised the Steering Committee of Project 06 to assign members to be in charge of each village and hamlet, and mobilize people to carry out procedures.

Through review, Uar Commune Police found that many households, especially the elderly, poor households, people in difficult circumstances, people with meritorious services and ethnic minorities, do not have phone SIMs, causing difficulties in activating level 2 electronic identification accounts.

To overcome this, the commune police sent open letters to network operators and businesses and business establishments in the area calling for support for phone SIMs for people in difficult circumstances. Responding to the call, on the afternoon of August 27, Duc Oanh One Member Limited Liability Company, Hoang Anh Tona Company, Doi Xanh Gia Lai Farm and Son Thach Stone Processing Factory donated 280 SIMs, worth 28 million VND.

This activity contributes to supporting Uar Commune Police to achieve the goals of the 40-day and night peak period launched by the Director of the Provincial Police, taking place from August 5 to September 15, 2026.

In the early days of the peak period, Uar Commune Police organized the collection of applications for ID cards for students and children aged 6-14; and at the same time went to homes to support the elderly, policy families and people with disabilities to collect information, install, and activate electronic identification accounts.

In addition to giving SIM cards, commune police officers and soldiers directly guide people to use phones, connect to the Internet, access digital applications and perform necessary operations to use level 2 electronic identification accounts, serving the resolution of administrative procedures.

In the coming time, Uar Commune Police will continue to maintain mobile working groups, accelerate the progress of mobile identification collection and strengthen propaganda and support for people to access digital technology, contributing to bringing the utilities of digital government closer to people.
