On June 11, at the lecture hall of Lien Tri Pagoda (Vung Tau ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the Executive Board of Lien Tri and Van Phuoc pagodas organized a Sangha activity, themed "How to make the Sangha strong?" for venerable monks and nuns in the 2 lower courts.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Venerable Thich Thien Thong, Standing Member of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (GHPGVN) HCMC, emphasized that the purpose of the program is to create a forum for monks and nuns to settle down together to exchange and share experiences in cultivation and directions for building an increasingly strong Sangha. The Venerable affirmed that the harmony and purity of the Sangha is the foundation for the longevity of Buddhism.
The meeting was attended by venerable monks in the Executive Board who sequentially shared their practice experiences, and at the same time expressed concerns about nurturing them and teaching disciples. They also emphasized the responsibility of monks in building a beautiful image of the Sangha, whose basic foundation is the observance of Buddhist law.

These shares not only reflect the enthusiasm of venerable monks for the cause of educating Sangha, but also affirm that the strength of the Sangha must begin from each individual practitioner, with a pure and virtuous life, a spirit of harmony and the will to spread the Dharma and benefit the people.
The activity becomes an opportunity for monks and nuns to reflect on their monastic life, arouse a sense of responsibility in preserving traditions and promoting the noble image of the Sangha in the hearts of Buddhists and society.
