On August 7, Ta Rut Commune People's Committee said that it had just organized the handover of equipment to serve digital transformation and opened a basic information technology knowledge training class for members of the Community Digital Technology Team.
Ta Rut is a mountainous commune located in the Vietnam - Laos border area, with difficult socio-economic conditions. Therefore, equipping digital equipment and skills for forces in villages is identified by the locality as one of the solutions to bring digital utilities closer to people in mountainous areas.
This time, 48 trainees who are members of the community digital technology team of 8 villages in the commune participate in a training course of 80 periods, lasting 20 sessions. The program combines theory and practice, focusing on skills that can be used directly at the grassroots level.
Trainees are instructed on how to use computers, manage data, draft administrative documents, create spreadsheets and design presentations to serve propaganda work.
Notably, the program dedicates time to skills directly related to people's needs such as using the Internet, VNeID, online public services, cashless payments, protecting personal data and identifying forms of cyber fraud.
According to Ta Rut Commune People's Committee, members of the Community Digital Technology Teams are the force directly propagating, guiding and supporting people in residential areas to use digital platforms.
Skills improvement for this force is expected to help people, especially in mountainous villages, reduce confusion when performing online administrative procedures, using electronic identification accounts or accessing utilities in the digital environment.
Along with training, information technology equipment is handed over to the grassroots level to supplement conditions to serve digital transformation activities in villages. Localities require equipment to be managed and exploited for the right purpose, ensuring safety and long-term use.
After completing the program, students are supported with reviewing, completing dossiers and registering to participate in the basic information technology application certificate exam at a qualified unit according to regulations.
From the skills equipped, 48 members of the Community Digital Technology Team will continue to play the role of "digital bridge" in villages, supporting people to gradually get acquainted with and use essential services in the digital environment.
