Ho Chi Minh City - The "Digital Coffee Station" model contributes to bringing digital utilities, online public services and essential digital skills to the people of Tam Thang ward.

On July 18, the Tam Thang Ward Public Administrative Service Center (HCMC) organized the implementation of the "Digital Coffee Station - People's Education 4.0" model at 2 coffee shops in the ward, supporting vulnerable people and the elderly to carry out administrative procedures in an electronic environment.

At all cafes, guide desks, "Digital Coffee Station - Drink coffee on weekends, receive digital skills", QR codes for searching for administrative procedures, online public services and official information channels of the ward are arranged. At the same time, 3-5 support members are arranged.

These members will directly support vulnerable people, the elderly, people with disabilities, patients, pregnant women, freelancers, small traders, small businesses and people who are not proficient in smart devices in accessing, searching, and performing administrative procedures in the electronic environment.

On the first day of deployment, many people were guided and supported on issues related to the implementation of administrative procedures. Many people expressed their joy because of timely and practical guidance to know how to perform operations on smartphones. Thereby highly appreciating the meaning and value that the "Digital Coffee Station - Ordinary Education No. 4.0" model brings.

According to the Tam Thang Ward Public Administrative Service Center, the above model is in the pilot phase on Saturday and Sunday mornings every week. Thereby, contributing to supporting people, especially the elderly and vulnerable cases, to know how to perform administrative procedures in the electronic environment, or use VNeID, public service accounts... even reflecting recommendations and assessing the level of satisfaction with local authorities.

The model also aims to concretize digital transformation from the grassroots level in a direction that is close to the people, easy to understand, and easy to implement; bringing digital utilities, online public services and essential digital skills to the people. Strengthening the linkage between the government, neighborhoods, unions, business establishments and the community in supporting people to carry out administrative procedures in a practical, regulated, safe, transparent, and time-saving manner.
