For more than 4 years now, in Nhan Co commune, Dak R'lap district (Dak Nong), the model "Nhan Co parish is safe in terms of security and order" has been implemented.
The model has the participation of the Steering Committee, which is representatives of departments, branches, organizations, parish councils and parishioners.
Accordingly, Nhan Co Parish has issued a convention to implement the model and specific regulations to enhance the sense of responsibility and obligation of parishioners in maintaining security and order, and building a movement for the whole people to protect national security.
Major Tran Anh Tuan, Chief of Nhan Co Commune Police, said that with the motto of "self-defense, self-management, self-protection, self-reconciliation", the Steering Committee of the model has promoted the dissemination of the content, meaning, and purpose of the model to the parishioners in the area.
The Steering Committee of the model coordinates with dignitaries and officials through lectures at churches. The purpose is to propagate, educate and mobilize parishioners to comply with the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws and policies and local regulations.
Members of the Steering Committee of the model also focus on promoting vigilance against the methods and tricks of hostile forces and criminals.
Disseminate legal regulations on traffic safety, fire and explosion prevention. Mobilize people to hand over dozens of homemade guns and actively participate in effectively implementing Project 06 of the Government.
"Members of the Steering Committee of the model regularly coordinate with the police force to promote propaganda and dissemination of legal education to parishioners, especially to raise people's vigilance against the methods and tricks of criminals" - Mr. Hoang Van Phu, Chairman of the Nhan Co Parish Council shared.

According to Mr. Doan Hung Thinh, Secretary and Head of Village 8, Nhan Co Commune, before there was a regular Commune Police and the Nhan Co Parish model of security and order, the situation in the area was quite complicated. Especially crimes of property theft, young people gathering to cause insecurity and disorder.
In recent years, with the participation of the entire political system, dignitaries and parishioners, security and order have always been well maintained, and crime and social evils have decreased.
Major Dang Van Tu, Deputy Head of Dak R'lap District Police, said that after more than 4 years of implementation, the model has achieved many results.
Dak Nong Provincial Police acknowledged, commended and announced to widely deploy throughout the province. Dak Nong Provincial Police also reported to the Department of Building the National Security Protection Movement of the Ministry of Public Security to notify local police nationwide to study, apply and expand.
“For Dak R’lap district, we advise local authorities to expand the model throughout the district. Thereby, mobilizing the participation of the entire political system, religious dignitaries and people in maintaining security and order right from the grassroots level,” Major Dang Van Tu emphasized.
