Hai Phong spends nearly 4 billion VND to upgrade Tan Tien Martyrs' Cemetery

Hai Phong - July 5, Gia Loc Commune People's Committee organized a conference to propagate and implement the project to upgrade and renovate Tan Tien Martyrs' Cemetery.

The project to upgrade and renovate Tan Tien Martyrs' Cemetery will renovate and upgrade 100 martyrs' graves; build flagpoles; renovate the system of yards, gates, fences, flower beds, green trees and auxiliary items, creating a spacious and solemn landscape, suitable for the memorial space. The total investment of the project is 3,893,696,000 VND, from the commune budget and the support of superiors.

Mr. Pham Van Thung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee - emphasized that the renovation and upgrading of Tan Tien Martyrs' Cemetery is a policy with profound political, social and humane significance, expressing the responsibility, feelings and gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of Gia Loc commune towards the heroic martyrs who bravely sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. The project is oriented to be built according to the model of a cemetery park, creating a green, harmonious, and solemn space, contributing to enhancing the landscape value, and better meeting the incense offering and commemoration needs of relatives of martyrs' families and people.

The Chairman of the Commune People's Committee requested specialized agencies, consulting units and construction units to closely coordinate, implement the project in accordance with design, technical standards, ensure quality, progress, aesthetics and solemnity of the project.

At the conference, delegates and relatives of martyrs' families expressed their agreement and high consensus with the local investment policy, contributing to creating favorable conditions for the project to be implemented soon, building Tan Tien Martyrs' Cemetery into a spacious gratitude project, worthy of the sacrifices of heroic martyrs.
