On November 4, Phu Huu Border Guard Station (An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command) said that the unit had just sent ministries, soldiers to coordinate with local forces and authorities to support people in evacuating their assets from the landslide area.
Specifically, at around 4:00 p.m. on November 3, at Group 17, Phu Thanh Hamlet, Phu Huu Commune, An Giang Province, a landslide occurred on the East bank of Hau River downstream (about 400m from Phu Huu Border Guard Station), affecting 7 households/29 people. Fortunately, there were no human or property losses in the incident.

After the incident, the unit assigned 35 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local departments, branches, organizations and people in the landslide area to move assets to safe locations.

Lieutenant Colonel Ha Thai Ngoc Chau, Political Commissar of Phu Huu Border Guard Station, said: This morning, the unit continued to assign officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities, departments, branches and organizations to dismantle and move assets to a safe place. It is expected that this afternoon and tomorrow, we will continue to support all remaining households.
