On October 25, a leader of the People's Committee of Tho Chau Special Zone (An Giang) said that heavy rain lasting from the night of October 24 to this morning (October 25-) has caused many areas in the special zone to be deeply flooded.
Many roads and residential areas were flooded with water into people's houses, causing more than 0.5m of flooding, making it difficult for people's lives and activities.

In the central area of the special zone, rising water flooded into people's houses, many families transported furniture to higher ground, using sandbags to prevent water from flooding into their houses.

According to local people, this is a rare prolonged heavy rain, with rainwater from mountainous areas pouring down rapidly, preventing the drainage system from draining in time, leading to local flooding.

The special forces government also advised people to limit travel and ensure the safety of people and property in unfavorable weather conditions.
