The Lai Chau Provincial Women's Union has just organized the Launching Ceremony of the "Women's online business group" model with the theme "Solidarity - Creativity - Action - Development - For women, for the community", according to the Lai Chau Provincial e-Portal.
Attending the ceremony were Comrade Ngo Thi Bich Hanh - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union; leaders of the Provincial Women's Union, Doan Ket ward (Lai Chau) and representatives of the Women's Unions of communes, wards, and Women's Unions of the armed forces.
The model is implemented to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, and at the same time concretize the breakthrough of the 13th Lai Chau Provincial Women's Congress on comprehensive digital transformation in the Association organization, accompanying women to improve digital capacity.
The Standing Committee of the Lai Chau Provincial Women's Union selected Doan Ket ward to build a model point "Women's online business group", contributing to supporting women to develop the economy, start businesses, establish businesses and improve the quality of life.
At the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the Decision to establish the model and the Steering Committee. The group has 25 members, gathering members with a common passion for online business, supporting each other in production, promotion, and product consumption.
Members will be trained in online business skills, digital marketing, livestream sales, order management, electronic payment; and at the same time promote and consume typical agricultural products, OCOP products of Lai Chau to markets inside and outside the province.
The model also maintains periodic activities to share experiences and remove difficulties in business. The Group's activities comply with the provisions of law on e-commerce, network information security and consumer rights protection.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Ngo Thi Bich Hanh requested the Steering Committee and members to promote the spirit of solidarity, actively study and update knowledge about digital transformation, e-commerce, digital marketing, livestream sales, electronic payment and application of artificial intelligence to improve business efficiency.
At the same time, members need to do honest business, ensure product quality, be transparent about origin, respect consumer rights and strictly comply with the provisions of law on e-commerce, network information security and personal data protection.
