Bringing Mid-Autumn Festival to 150 students in the border area of Dak Lak

Dak Lak - 150 students in the border commune of Ia Ru received many meaningful gifts during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

On October 5, the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with the People's Committee of Ia Ru Commune to organize the program "Diamonds - Full Moon Festival" for students in difficult circumstances to study in the border area.

The program is accompanied by Vietravel Company, Dak Lak branch. Here, 150 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts were given to children in Ia Ru commune.

Colonel Do Quang Tham - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, Political Commissar of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard - said: "The annual program is held on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival across all sides of the border of the Fatherland.

This is a meaningful activity to care for and encourage children to study and practice, becoming good students, useful people for society".

According to Colonel Tham, the Provincial Border Guard is currently coordinating with families, local authorities and schools to sponsor 134 students in Ia Ru commune through the programs: "Promoting children to school", "Adopted children of the Border Guard station", "Sparental mothers", "Army officers and soldiers to support children to school".

In recent years, many students have made efforts to overcome difficulties and achieved high academic results, bringing pride to their families and the locality.
