The People's Committee of Da Nang City directs departments, branches and localities to focus on investing in the construction of boarding schools for primary and secondary schools in 6 land border communes.
At the working session on preparing to invest in the construction of inter-level boarding schools for primary and secondary schools in 6 land border communes in the city, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan issued instructions requesting departments, branches and localities to urgently review and make a list of tasks to be implemented for 6 projects to advise the City People's Committee to issue a directive document next week.
According to the report, the Quang Nam Construction Investment Project Management Board has completed the investment explanation of three projects in three communes assigned as investors and is waiting for instructions from competent authorities to determine the implementation process in the form of special or regular public investment projects.
Some construction sites are still facing problems related to land use planning for education and new rural construction planning. The investor has proposed that the City People's Committee agree on the construction location, remove difficulties in site clearance, land procedures, and conversion of land use purposes, as well as allow the application of the form of bidding designation according to new regulations of the Government.
The Management Board of Investment and Construction of Civil, Industrial and Infrastructure Projects of Da Nang has also coordinated with departments, branches and localities to plan to organize the project launching ceremony, and at the same time proposed a construction location in A Vuong commune to shorten construction time and ensure progress.
Vice Chairman Tran Anh Tuan requested the Department of Construction to urgently determine the construction locations of the projects, and at the same time assign localities to be responsible for specific locations, ensuring the safety of boundary markers and handing them over to the investor.
Accordingly, A Vuong, Tay Giang, Hung Son will hand over to the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Da Nang Civil, Industrial and Infrastructure, while La Ao, La De and Dac Pring communes will hand over to the Management Board of Quang Nam Construction Investment Projects.
The Department of Education and Training coordinates with communes to calculate the needs of students and teachers, ensure appropriate investment items and avoid waste.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned to review material mine planning, guide land procedures, compensation, and assess environmental impacts; the Department of Finance advises on investment processes for works of special nature.
Emphasize the units need to coordinate closely, ensure the progress, quality and efficiency of projects, contributing to improving effective teaching and learning conditions in border communes.
