Implementing Plan No. 58/KH-SDTTG dated May 27, 2026, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Lam Dong province organized 3 delegations of prestigious people among ethnic minorities to exchange, study, and exchange experiences outside the province in 2026.
From July 27 to August 10, 2026, the Department organized a delegation of prestigious people to Hanoi and Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Phu Tho provinces for exchange, study, and experience sharing. The delegation was headed by Mr. Bui Ngoc Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
During 15 days, delegates visited historical sites, learned about changes after the arrangement of administrative units and the process of implementing the two-level local government model.
The delegation also surveyed effective socio-economic development models, good practices and new initiatives in localities.
Through the trip, reputable people are raised in awareness and propaganda skills, mobilizing people to develop the economy, increase income, participate in building new rural areas, contributing to the implementation of the goal of developing ethnic minority areas, associated with preserving cultural identity and ensuring national defense and security.
The activity also creates conditions for delegates to exchange and share practical experiences, improve the effectiveness of promoting the role of prestigious people among ethnic minorities; contributing to the effective implementation of the National Target Program for socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas along with programs, projects, and ethnic policies in Lam Dong province.
