Vinh Hai commune (Can Tho city) has more than 46% of the population being Khmer people, and socio-economic life is still facing many difficulties. Colonel Ha Huy Truong - Deputy Political Commissar of the Can Tho City Border Guard affirmed that the exemplary and contributions of religious dignitaries and prestigious people have made an important contribution to maintaining political security, social order and safety, building a national border posture and a solid people's heart posture in the coastal border area. This is also an important foundation for local socio-economic development, improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
The Colonel suggested that Vinh Hai Border Guard Station continue to closely coordinate with localities, the Fatherland Front and organizations to replicate effective models, promptly honor advanced models, and motivate prestigious people to continue to accompany the people in building and defending the Fatherland.
