For the 2020-2025 term, the Quang Ninh Police force has promoted the spirit of solidarity, unity, high political determination, concerted, resolute, methodical actions, clearly innovated the methods of comprehensive leadership, direction and management of all aspects of work, completed and exceeded the goals, targets of work, tasks and solutions set forth in the Resolution of the 23rd Provincial Police Party Congress.
One of the strong marks of the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Party Committee in the 2020-2025 term is the breakthrough in Party building work, building a comprehensive, continuous, synchronous, and determined People's Public Security force in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres. take the lead in perfecting the streamlined, effective and efficient organization with the model of "comprehensive province, strong commune, sticking to the grassroots". Quang Ninh Provincial Police also effectively deployed the fight against and prevention of crimes, law violations, and social evils, including drastically and effectively deploying 25 peak periods of attack and suppression of crimes. Speaking at the Congress, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Lam, Deputy Minister of Public Security, requested the Provincial Police Party Committee to continue to promote Party building, build a clean and strong Quang Ninh Police force in all aspects; innovate methods and improve leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees at all levels, identifying this as a key and top priority task, with the decisive significance of successfully deciding on political tasks in the new era; strive to complete and achieve higher goals and targets on modernizing forces and Commune Police by 2030 in the spirit of Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW (16.2022) of the Politburo and Resolution No. 28-NQ/TU (26.29/2024) of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
Along with that, strongly innovate the thinking of security and order assurance in the new context in the direction of proactively identifying and warning early, responding quickly, responding promptly, and effectively handling risks threatening national security and non-traditional security challenges.

At the Congress, delegates voted to elect 21 comrades to join the 24th Provincial Police Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term. At the first meeting, the Provincial Police Party Committee elected Major General Tran Van Phuc, Director of the Provincial Police, to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Police Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
