On December 22, information from Huoi Tu Commune Police (Nghe An) said that recently, the unit has coordinated with the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police to develop a propaganda topic suitable for the characteristics of the highlands and the age of students at Huoi Tu Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.
The propaganda content focuses on the provisions of the Road Traffic Law such as wearing standard helmets, not driving motorbikes when underage, driving in the correct part of the road, not speeding, not using alcohol when participating in traffic, as well as skills to handle situations on mountainous roads, many slopes and narrow corners.
Propaganda activities are organized intuitively and vividly, combined with real images of traffic accidents, helping more than 500 students of the school easily absorb and raise their awareness of law compliance.
In addition, the Huoi Tu Commune Police coordinated with the Board of Directors of the Huoi Tu Board of Directors for Ethnic Minorities to organize 100% of students to sign a commitment not to violate traffic safety order; at the same time, encourage parents to manage their children, not to give motorbikes to underage students to drive. The school also established a monitoring book, promptly notifying the family of the violators for coordination in education and handling. Thanks to that, the situation of students driving motorbikes without helmets has decreased significantly compared to the previous school year.
In the coming time, the Huoi Tu Commune Police will continue to maintain a coordinating model, increase patrols and controls at school gates and key routes; at the same time, call for parents' cooperation in managing their children, contributing to building a safe and healthy traffic environment for students in mountainous areas.
